3D Model
Format Converter

Browser-based, privacy-first converter. OBJ → GLB, GLTF → GLB, and FBX → GLB are live today. FBX can be imported and converted in a browser, but exporting to FBX cannot — no reliable client-side FBX writer exists. Additional mesh pairs (STL, OBJ↔GLTF) are on the roadmap.

Get the cleanest conversion

Decimate before export

Reduce polycount in your DCC tool before conversion. Sub-100k triangle assets parse noticeably faster in the browser.

Use a self-contained file

For GLTF, prefer a single .gltf with embedded buffers/textures (or a .glb). Multi-file GLTF with external .bin/image siblings can't be uploaded through one dropzone.

Bake materials first

OBJ has no material data on its own; procedural shader networks from Blender or Maya won't survive conversion. Bake to a PBR texture set before exporting.
