Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 5, 2026
1. Overview
3D Model Converter ("we", "us", "the Service") is an entirely browser-native software utility built to transcode 3D assets locally. This Privacy Policy details the exact scope of the minimal, non-identifying telemetry we analyze, how third-party ad systems handle cookies, and why your intellectual property remains fully isolated on your local device. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the practices outlined below.
2. Complete Local File Isolation (Zero-Retention)
All file parsing, mesh decimation, and format conversions occur strictly within your client-side device's native CPU, GPU, and RAM allocation loops via local WebAssembly scripts. We do not upload, transport, copy, view, log, or store your 3D files or processed output data. All session memory allocations are completely wiped from your browser's local sandbox environment the moment you reload the page, close the active tab, or clear your browser cache. We possess zero technical ability to recover, restore, or track a file once your active browser session ends.
3. Minimal Non-Identifying Information We Collect
To help maintain application performance and monitor infrastructure stability, we collect a minimal footprint of non-identifying data:
- Aggregated traffic metrics (total daily visits, page route hits, and general duration).
- Anonymous asset parameters (such as the specific source/target conversion pair, e.g., OBJ to USDZ, without logging filenames or content).
- Technical server request metadata (such as basic user-agent string, referrer path, and generalized IP address data collected solely for firewall security and DDoS prevention).
We do not engage in browser fingerprinting, cross-site identity tracking, or the construction of individual user behavior profiles.
4. Cookies and Local Browser Storage
The Service utilizes your browser's native localStorage mechanism to preserve basic, non-identifying user interface preferences (such as remembering your dark mode choice or hiding a mobile notice bar). This is purely functional and does not track you. Third-party advertising modules integrated into our site layout utilize cookies to optimize ad delivery, as detailed explicitly in Section 6.
5. Edge Infrastructure and Providers
Our client-side application is distributed globally via premium edge caching infrastructure provided by Cloudflare and Lovable. These cloud networks handle standard HTTP requests to fetch and deliver the site's static assets (HTML, CSS, WebAssembly modules) quickly to your browser and to defend against automated script abuse. No user file content ever touches or traverses their processing pipelines.
6. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures
To maintain this application as a free technical resource, we display advertisements served via Google AdSense. In strict compliance with Google's publisher mandates, you must be aware of the following data operations:
- Third-party vendors, most notably Google, use cookies to serve targeted ads based on a user's previous visits to this website or other destinations on the internet.
- Google's deployment of advertising cookies enables it and its network partners to deliver specific advertisements to you based on your browsing patterns across the web.
- You can completely disable personalized advertising at any time by modifying your profile settings at Google Ad Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a broad spectrum of third-party vendor tracking by navigating to the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal at www.aboutads.info.
7. Regulatory Compliance & Your Global Rights
Because our technical architecture is mathematically incapable of collecting, processing, harvesting, or storing personal data, there is no personal profile database for us to access, export, modify, or erase under data protection frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, or UK-DPA. If you have any inquiries regarding our compliance or network traffic rules, you may submit an administrative query via our designated Contact Page.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service does not target, solicit, or knowingly monitor children under the age of 13. Because zero user files or personal details are collected or retained by our architecture, we maintain full compliance with global youth privacy regulations.
9. Dynamic Adjustments to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to ensure alignment with changing browser behaviors, web standards, or updated ad network protocols. Revisions will be indicated transparently by modifying the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued usage of the utility following an update denotes your formal agreement with the revised policy.
10. Contact Information
If you have any operational questions, security inquiries, or infrastructure notes regarding this Privacy Policy, please reach out to us via our Contact Page.
